As many of you know the war, well
that is what the media is calling it, between Israel & Palestine has been
on-going for many years. Over the years the casualties of this conflict have
been rising and rising with not much being done by any of the other countries
around the world to help attain peace within the countries.
I’m not saying that every Israeli or every Palestinian is to
be blamed for the actions of a minority of powerful people in their country,
but I will say this that Israel has the upper hand in this conflict.
As a matter of fact it seems like one of the most powerful
governments in the world, the government of the United States of America has
been urging Israel to carry on attacking Palestine by giving them billions of
dollars since the past few years for their defence budget. In 2012 the Business
Insider reported that Israel’s defence budget for that year was $15
billion and 21% of this was funded by the government of the United States of
America and they call this foreign aid. I would
like to ask the Dear President Obama “What exactly is your taxpayers billions
of dollars aiding Israel against?!” Is it the small innocent children of
Palestine who you seem to believe have some kind of superhuman strength that
they could unleash at any time and injure and kill hundreds and thousands of
innocent people like the rockets you aid Israel with do to them and their
families?! “What have these innocent children done that is so bad that it has
resulted in them being labelled terrorists and having their homes blown up and
their lives taken away and their family killed?!

look like terrorists to you? Do the children in them images look like they can
kill thousands of people right now?
However that is not the only financial aid that the
government of the United States of America is giving to Israel. It seems they
are very intent on destroying Palestine and the civilians living there so
Israel can occupy it completely as it was reported by The
Washington Report on Middle Eastern Affairs that “Since 1992, the U.S.
has offered Israel an additional $2 billion annually in loan guarantees.” and
it doesn’t end there, “In addition, there is more than $1.5 billion in private
U.S. funds that go to Israel annually in the form of $1 billion in private
tax-deductible donations and $500 million in Israeli bonds.”. Now I would like
to ask you if that doesn’t seem like the government of the United States of
America is intent on supporting Israel be it right or wrong then what does.
Mr. Obama & the leaders of many other governments who
have the power to stop this massacre and blatant genocide of the Palestinians
tell me “How many more Palestinian women will have to be raped by the Zionist
Israeli soldiers for you to open your eyes and see the inhumanity that is
happening?!” “How many more innocent children who have not even seen a fragment
of this world properly that are blown into pieces daily will it take for you
and your media to stop turning a blind eye and portraying Israel as the only
victim in this conflict?!”
How many more images of women being abused by Israeli
officials will it take for the media to wake up?
How many more images and videos of a parent mourning over
their child(ren)s dead body’s or a child crying over their parents dead body
will it take for the media to report the truth of what is really happening in
Palestine?
How many more videos of young children being shot dead at point blank range by Israeli soldiers will it take for the courts of the world to do justice by the Palestinians?
We all need to come together not based on religion,
ethnicity, cultural values or even gender but as the representatives of what
goodness is left in the hearts & minds of the human race. We need to show
the world that humanity is still alive and that we will fight to preserve human
rights & that they are not just some baseless laws written on a piece of
paper & passed by the court to keep our mouths shut. That would be a very
ironic situation seeing as one of the points made in the 'Universal Declaration
of Human Rights' is that: " You should be able to ask for legal help when
the rights your country grants you are not respected." Some of you may ask
"What rights is she talking about?, she's not even in the middle of this
situation she is discussing." Although I may not be in their situation, I
am still human like all of them & the 'Universal Declaration of Human
Rights' is made for all of the human race not just for the rich & the privileged,
not only for those who have either rightfully or by duping people with the
false promise of hope have gained seats in the governing cabinets of their
countries. These are the type of people that are taking unfair advantage of the
human rights declaration and the ongoing situation.
As we have seen
multiple times the media is constantly showing Israel as the victim which is
not entirely true & not showing how bad the situation is in Palestine. Both
Israel & Palestine have been ruined & devastated by this ongoing 'war',
both of them have lost many members of their population. We didn't know who
they were & what they were like but no matter what they did, they did not
deserve to die like that. No one deserves to die like that. Children have lost
their mother, their Father and in many case both. Parents have lost their
children, some of them didn't even get to see their child alive because the
pregnant mother was either shot or kicked or treated to some form of abuse that
caused her to lose her baby.
The people that are doing this are showing no mercy, they are
not sparing anyone. It seems like they have no humanity left within them. Even
though many videos & images have surfaced online of the atrocities these
demons or beast or whatever name you call them, they are not being punished
& taken into prison for their actions, as a matter of fact I've seen many
people online praising their actions.
The video below shows how wrong the western media is doing
the people of Palestine.
This can all be stopped if we manage to raise maximum
awareness of the situation to our governments & if that doesn't work we
will have to pressurise them so they will have no choice but to intervene.
Maybe then they will realise that portraying only one of the countries as a
victim is unjustified because none of the countries are the victims, it's the
CIVILIANS that are having to live in them countries every day who don't know if
they will see tomorrow when they sleep at night, the CIVILIANS who are losing a
member or even their whole family in a matter of seconds because of the
bombings & shootings, it is these CIVILIANS that are the victims in this
situation & not the land. The countries can rebuild themselves over the
years but tell me this "can the CIVILIANS get their family back?",
"Can they rebuild their family by picking up pieces of their bodies from
the rubble caused by the bombings?". I'll tell you "NO, THEY CAN'T DO
THAT!" "Do you think once this is all over that the CIVILIANS will be
able to live an easy going life?" I don't think so and I'm sure many will
agree with me & to those of you who are thinking "why is it that they
will not be able to do this?" It's because they have been living through a
situation which I could only describe as "their personal hell on earth,
they are in constant fear of being attacked by an air strike or being shot or
even being physically abused & they are facing so much mental and emotional
trauma on a daily basis. This is one of the few reasons as to why it will be
difficult for them to adjust to life after war.
So I would like to request people from around the world to
show your support for the people of the Middle East and pressure your leaders
to intervene in this conflict and end these atrocities. We need to do this
daily like many have been doing through social network by posting images and
videos raising awareness of the truth of what is happening in Palestine and
Gaza. We also need to continue carrying out the peaceful demonstrations that
many have been leading and supporting worldwide in their countries to pressurise
their governments into stop sitting idly and twiddling their thumbs and
actually do something to stop this conflict and help save the innocent
civilians. We need to continue donating to charities that are raising funds to
give medical aid and food supplies to the victims of the conflict. It might
feel like a lot of effort and time and you may feel like giving up on this
cause and leaving it up to others to do all the hard work but think about this
if you are reading this post it shows many things, one of them being that you
are actually affected by this conflict and do care about what’s happening, the
second is that you obviously have spare time as you are reading this post
therefore I can conclude that you must also have enough time to post a tweet or
share facebook status tagging members of the government in them to raise
awareness of the conflict and the casualties of the conflict so that they can’t
say they were never urged by their people to help the people of the Middle
East.
If you think about giving up on this cause remember the
people living in Palestine and Gaza haven’t given up and they are living
through this hell on a daily basis and see more deaths every day and attend
more funerals everyday than most of us have in our entire life. So please don’t
give up on them because if we give up then who will they have left to support
them. We need to show the evil leaders and governments that they haven’t
brainwashed us and taken away our humanity, that we still know our rights and
that with us united they are nothing.
